Ceramics Using Dosirak IP... Limited Release of 100 Pieces
Paldo announced on the 28th that it is collaborating with the ceramic brand Idoonhwa to release a limited edition of 100 'Paldo Dosirak Ceramic Edition' products.
This new product is a ceramic item utilizing the Dosirak IP (intellectual property). It features a square container with a lid, embodying the identity of Paldo Dosirak. It can be used not only for direct flame cooking but also in the microwave, making it versatile for various types of dishes. The lid is designed to serve food or hold side dishes. The side is engraved with the ‘Neoulmun’ pattern by ceramic master Shin Wang-geon, adding a touch of elegance.
The limited edition will be available for first-come, first-served purchase on Idoonhwa’s Naver Store starting August 8th. All proceeds from sales will be donated to underprivileged groups. The regular ceramic version will be sold starting August 28th.
Yu Byung-kwon, head of Paldo’s marketing team, said, “The Paldo Dosirak Ceramic Edition was planned to capture the heritage of the long-standing Dosirak brand, where nostalgia and trends coexist,” adding, “We will continue to establish ourselves as the leading domestic container noodle brand through various marketing activities.”
Dosirak is Paldo’s first container noodle product launched in 1986. It was the first in Korea to apply a stable square container, gaining great popularity. Last year, domestic sales reached 31 million units.
