What Did Moon Heon-il Say to Guro-gu Office Employees at the Integrity Talk Concert?

Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) held the "Integrity Talk Concert with the District Mayor" on the 27th at the district office auditorium to promote a culture of integrity and fairness within the organization.

To enhance employees' sensitivity to integrity and build a shared understanding of an honest public service culture among staff, the district moved away from traditional lecture-style sessions focused on legal provisions and instead organized a concert-style education program featuring various cultural performances.

District Mayor Moon Heon-il attended the event, emphasizing the importance of integrity and sharing the district's integrity activities and plans, reaffirming Guro-gu's commitment to integrity.

Additionally, the program included a "Time for Intergenerational Communication" involving new public officials and senior officials at grade 5 and above, an "Integrity Play" presenting the right choices amid dilemmas related to the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, a special lecture on the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act by a professional instructor, and an anti-corruption "Integrity Quiz Show."

An employee who participated in the training said, "It was interesting that the program was conducted in a concert format rather than a stiff lecture," adding, "It was a meaningful time to think about integrity with a joyful heart."

District Mayor Moon Heon-il stated, "Integrity is not merely a moral value but an important principle forming the foundation of our society," emphasizing, "We must all be trusted by residents by maintaining the fundamental attitude of public officials."

He continued, "I ask everyone to make efforts so that Guro-gu can be a place where mutual trust among organizational members is the foundation."

Since the launch of the 8th elected administration, Guro-gu has emphasized communication and a horizontal organizational culture, conducting anti-corruption capability assessments for its employees and improving vulnerable areas through the operation of an integrity promotion council. As a result, the district achieved the highest grade for two consecutive years in the comprehensive public institution integrity evaluations in 2023 and 2024.
