Samsung C&T Corporation's Construction Division announced on the 27th that it will launch 'Homenic 2.0,' a home platform with significantly enhanced lifestyle-oriented functions.

Samsung C&T Unveils Home Platform 'Homenic 2.0'... Expanding Nationwide to Residential Complexes

Homenic is a home platform that allows users to access various services related to residential life, such as digital smart home services, cultural activities, and health management, all through a single application (app).

Since launching the dedicated app last August and first applying it to Raemian One Bailey, it has been expanded to existing residential complexes and is currently used by over 33,000 households.

Homenic 2.0 introduces lifestyle-oriented services essential for apartment living. In addition to basic services such as community reservations and visitor vehicle registration, payment functions including management fees and monthly rent payments have been added.

A newly added flagship feature is the 'Apartment Care' service, which provides after-sales service (AS) such as defect handling during move-in at new complexes and repairs or replacements needed in aging residential complexes. This service will be initially offered to some apartment complexes in Seocho-gu, Seoul starting in October and will gradually expand to other regions.

A group purchasing service for Homenic users will also be introduced. This is a customer-tailored service that provides timely supplies of materials and parts needed for maintenance according to the apartment life cycle, including group purchases proposed directly by residents and nearby commercial districts.

The membership service 'Homenicus Club' has also been added, offering various benefits such as special price offers and package sales from over 30 verified partners including Samsung Electronics and Mirae Asset.

The smart home function now includes 'Matter' technology, which recognizes users' lifestyle patterns and allows automatic control of home appliances and Internet of Things (IoT) devices throughout the house with the Homenic app, regardless of brand.

Additionally, various contents are provided, such as usage analysis for energy saving, notifications for progressive rate tiers, and communication functions for residents' representative meetings.

Samsung C&T signed a Homenic service contract with Acro River Park in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu in July, and this month formed a partnership with HS Hwaseong, a construction company in Daegu, expanding the Homenic service beyond Samsung C&T’s Raemian complexes.

In collaboration with Apartmenti, the nation's number one apartment-dedicated app, Homenic’s services and benefits will be available in various apartment complexes nationwide. Apartmenti is the largest apartment life support platform in Korea, used in over 30,000 complexes and 12 million households nationwide, providing residents with various services such as management fee inquiry and payment, and parcel reservation.

Kim Myung-seok, Vice President and Head of the Housing Business Division at Samsung C&T, said, "We are now able to offer the upgraded Homenic 2.0, which prioritizes residents' convenience, to various apartment complexes nationwide. With optimized services reflecting the characteristics and lifestyles of each complex, we will maximize residents' residential satisfaction."
