The Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority (hereinafter Gwangju FEZA) will operate the "Gwangju Joint Promotion Pavilion" together with companies located in the Gwangju Free Economic Zone participating in the "2024 Korea Climate Environment Energy Expo (KEET 2024)" held at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center from the 28th to the 30th.

Gwangju FEZA has been operating the joint promotion pavilion since last year in response to demands from resident companies through surveys and the Resident Companies Council, supporting the promotion and market development of resident companies.

This year, promising companies in the energy and environment sectors among the Gwangju Free Economic Zone resident companies will participate to introduce prototypes and new technologies. Additionally, consultations on technology partnerships and business cooperation with buyers and related companies visiting the joint promotion pavilion will be conducted.

In particular, Gwangju FEZA’s investment attraction project managers (PMs) will be stationed at the pavilion to simultaneously provide investment attraction consultations for the Gwangju Free Economic Zone.

The participating companies in the exhibition are four companies located in Bitgreen Industrial Complex and Energy Valley: ▲Tronics ▲Samdo Environment ▲Isak Energy ▲Richlux.

"Tronics" is a specialized company researching Internet of Things (IoT) technology that connects people and objects using rapidly developing information and communication technology, and Energy Management System (EMS) technology. They will introduce the e-IoT smart public lighting integrated control system, which collects real-time human and environmental information to provide a preventive disaster response system.

"Samdo Environment" is a specialized company producing plasma technology products such as "Plasma Generators for Agriculture and Livestock" and "Plasma Odor Removers." At the exhibition, they will showcase the "Plasma Deodorizer," capable of removing various odor substances and sterilizing spaces where large amounts of odor substances are generated, such as livestock barns and composting sites.

"Isak Energy" is a promising renewable energy company specializing in solar thermal and photovoltaic installations. They will exhibit and demonstrate an eco-friendly solar thermal hot water auxiliary system that effectively absorbs solar heat to heat water without electricity or gas, resulting in zero carbon emissions.

"Richlux" is a leading company in the smart lighting market, manufacturing emotional lighting that integrates energy-saving light-emitting diode (LED) lighting fixtures and various sensors. At this exhibition, they will display a prototype of an LED floodlight that promotes plant growth.

Seon Seok-gi, head of the Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority, said, "Through this exhibition, we will fully support promoting prototypes and new technologies of companies in the Gwangju Free Economic Zone and advancing it as a venue for business cooperation among companies." He added, "We will faithfully fulfill our role as a support institution so that resident companies can quickly settle in the region and continue to grow."
