Lotte Innovate's stock price surged sharply on the back of expectations for the metaverse platform 'Caliverse.'

As of 11:15 AM on the 27th, Lotte Innovate's stock was trading at 32,050 KRW, up 18.05% from the previous day's closing price. The stock began rising early in the session and continued to expand its gains throughout the trading day.
On the 26th, Caliverse announced on its X (formerly Twitter) account that it will launch its metaverse platform on the 29th. Caliverse is known as a hyper-realistic metaverse platform where users can experience content such as shopping and entertainment with ultra-realistic visuals.
In 2021, Lotte Innovate acquired Caliverse (formerly Vision VR), a virtual reality and metaverse specialist company, for 12 billion KRW.
