Samsung Electronics, the official partner of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), announced on the 27th that it will carry out partnership activities in line with the opening of the '2024 Paris Paralympics' on the 28th.
Following the Paris Olympics, Samsung Electronics supports the successful hosting of the Paralympics based on brand values that emphasize 'openness' and 'inclusiveness.'

Samsung Electronics will provide approximately 5,000 athletes participating in the Paris Paralympics with the 'Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition.' For the first time in an Olympic Edition, the 'Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition' is equipped with 'Galaxy Artificial Intelligence (AI)' and supports features such as 'interpretation' and 'real-time voice translation' utilizing the foldable dual screen. It also includes various accessibility features such as 'Bixby Vision Accessibility,' which recognizes the surrounding environment through the camera and provides real-time information via voice, and 'Luminno Outline,' which enhances image visibility by emphasizing screen contours, colors, and contrast.
The 'Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition' is equipped with various specialized services and apps to allow participating athletes to conveniently use them locally during the Paralympics. These include free public transportation passes, free beverage vouchers, and a 100GB capacity eSIM that supports 5G data usage.
Samsung Electronics will also operate the ambassador team 'Team Samsung Galaxy' during the Paris Paralympics to spread the spirit and inspiration of the Paralympics worldwide.

Samsung Electronics will also operate the 'Samsung Olympic Experience Center' during the Paralympics. Customers visiting the experience centers located on Paris's Champs-?lys?es and Place de la Marine can try various 'Galaxy AI' features such as Circle to Search and interpretation, and participate in the 'Pin Master Collection' program to collect 'Samsung Olympic Pins.'
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics has supported the Paralympics for nearly 20 years since the 2006 Torino Winter Paralympics in Italy. At the 2014 Sochi Winter Paralympics in Russia, it held a visual impairment experience exhibition called 'Conversations in the Dark' to raise awareness of visual impairment in environments without light. At the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Paralympics, it also held an exhibition where visitors could experience the low-vision visual impairment assistance feature 'Luminno' through virtual reality (VR) devices.
