The government will hold a meeting of relevant ministers tomorrow to prepare emergency medical measures in response to concerns about a medical service gap following the announcement of a general strike by the National Health and Medical Workers' Union.

A presidential office official told reporters at the Yongsan Presidential Office on the afternoon of the 26th, "All related government departments are making multifaceted efforts to ensure that medical sites, including emergency rooms, can operate stably."

The official added, "The government will mobilize all its capabilities to ensure there are no inconveniences in using emergency medical services during the Chuseok holiday. The meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, and will closely discuss response measures in case of a strike and emergency room operations, as well as other emergency medical measures."
