Wise AI Selected as 'Baby Unicorn Plus Company'... "Achievement for 2 Consecutive Years"

Wise AI, a specialized artificial intelligence (AI) platform company, has once again been recognized for its outstanding growth potential this year, following last year.


Wise AI announced on the 26th that it has been finally selected for the ‘2024 Baby Unicorn Plus’ support project hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.


The Baby Unicorn Plus support project is a government initiative that selects about 20 additional companies with high growth potential among those that have successfully completed the ‘Baby Unicorn’ project, nurturing them into prospective unicorn companies with global competitiveness (corporate value of over 100 billion KRW).


Previously, Wise AI was selected as one of the ‘Baby Unicorn 200’ companies in June last year. Since then, the company has proven its excellent capabilities in the AI market by being selected for multiple government support projects, including obtaining the highest technology evaluation grade ‘TI-1’ this year and the ‘A grade’ certification for technology innovative small and medium enterprises (Inno-Biz).


Song Hyung-seok, CEO of Wise AI, said, “Being finally selected for Baby Unicorn Plus following Baby Unicorn 200 has allowed us to externally prove the company’s growth potential and marketability once again. We will actively utilize various programs supported by the Baby Unicorn Plus project, such as strengthening investor networking and mentoring, to further enhance the company’s competitiveness.”


He added, “Through this, we aim to achieve a technology-special listing within the year and leap forward as a global company representing Korea.”


Wise AI possesses its own inference engine capable of pattern-based natural language processing (NLP), which can recognize and process various languages, including dialects. A major feature is that it can generate highly accurate responses through linkage with large language models (LLM). Additionally, the company holds technology that enables customer service and appointment reception via AI without integration with electronic medical records (EMR) of hospitals and clinics.


Based on various core technologies specialized in communication between humans and AI, Wise AI provides services such as △ SSAM, a built-in AI customer center capable of 24-hour real-time automatic customer service and appointment management, and △ DentOn, an AI dental care platform.


Launched in May this year, DentOn is rapidly expanding its market share based on excellent product competitiveness and partnerships with dental associations, hospitals, clinics, and related companies. DentOn is an AI-based dental care platform that assists with various tasks on behalf of people, from customer classification and screening to appointment reception, guidance, and post-treatment care.


According to the company, the results of AI-based customer service (inbound) and regular check-up guidance (outbound) have confirmed effectiveness in increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction at the adopting locations. Wise AI aims to distribute DentOn to a total of 2,000 dental clinics this year.
