Naver Cloud Builds HyperClovaX for Chungnam Office of Education

Naver Cloud announced on the 26th that it will apply its ultra-large artificial intelligence (AI) 'HyperCLOVA X' to the integrated education platform of the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education.

Through generative AI and cloud technology, Naver Cloud plans to lead digital innovation in educational settings by supporting various educational and administrative services.

HyperCLOVA X will be applied to the Chungnam Office of Education's website, student records, curriculum, and school work manuals. Faculty and staff will be able to quickly find relevant tasks, and students and parents will also be able to easily obtain necessary information through a chatbot format.

This project will open in February next year after about six months of construction and stabilization. Through continuous monitoring and functional improvements, the completeness of administrative services will be enhanced and gradually expanded to the teaching and learning fields. The two companies signed a "Memorandum of Understanding for Digital-Based Educational Innovation and Future-Oriented Technology Service Support" for this project on the 23rd.

Im Tae-geon, Executive Director of Naver Cloud, said, "As the high effectiveness of generative AI utilization has been proven, inquiries about the introduction of HyperCLOVA X are increasing in various fields," adding, "We will continue to develop various AI services optimized for the educational environment and do our best to support AI-based digital innovation in various educational settings across the country."
