Lotte Chilsung Opens 'Cheoeumcheoreom X Crush' Soju-Cocktail Popup Store in Myeongdong

Providing Korean-Style Somaek Culture Sensibility and Diverse Drinking Experiences
Operating at Lotte Duty Free 'Now in Myeongdong' Until September 18

Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 26th that it will operate the ‘Cheoeumcheoreom X Crush, Somaek Pocha Popup Store’ at the Lotte Duty Free showroom ‘NOWIN Myeongdong’ located in Myeongdong, Seoul, until the 18th of next month.


This popup store is planned as an exciting somaek marketing venue that offers storytelling and drinking experiences based on Korean somaek culture to domestic and foreign visitors visiting the heart of Seoul, Myeongdong, through the combination of ‘Cheoeumcheoreom,’ the original green bottle soju, and ‘Crush,’ a beer with a youthful sensibility. Goods and cocktails of Saero, a soju for the MZ generation, will also be introduced together.

This popup store is a marketing venue that provides storytelling and drinking experiences based on Korean somaek culture to domestic and foreign visitors through the combination of ‘Cheoeumcheoreom,’ the original green bottle soju, and ‘Crush,’ a beer with a youthful sensibility. Goods and cocktails of Saero, a soju for the MZ generation, will also be introduced together.


On the first floor, visitors can experience the Korean-style pocha atmosphere at the ‘Somaek Bar.’ At the Somaek Bar, somaek menus with specific recipes and alcohol levels suitable for particular situations such as ‘Youth’ and ‘Life’ are sold.


The second floor and rooftop feature photo zones designed with the concept of a recreated pojangmacha (street food tent). Instead of the orange tent reminiscent of a pocha, the photo zones are decorated as a pocha reinterpreted with the combination of the two brand colors: Cheoeumcheoreom’s green and Crush’s blue, offering a unique enjoyment.


In addition, various collaboration goods are also on sale. The goods include beer glasses featuring Crush’s crystal cutting look, ‘Cheoeumcheoreom Daegwallyeong Glass’ and ‘Cheoeumcheoreom X Crush Somaek Glass’ made in collaboration with a glass craft artist, as well as special editions of Lotte Chilsung Beverage’s representative brands.
