Mapo-gu Conducts Satisfaction Survey for Safe and Reliable Childcare Center Meals

Satisfaction Survey for Safe Food Ingredient Suppliers of Daycare Centers Until August 30
Survey on Food Ingredient Prices, Quality, Freshness, Origin Accuracy, and Delivery Hygiene
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, “We Will Create a Childcare Environment Where Children Can Be Entrusted with Confidence” -

Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) is conducting a satisfaction survey on safe food ingredient purchasing companies for daycare centers until August 30, 2024.

This survey was prepared to understand the current status of food ingredient suppliers to daycare centers and to identify areas for improvement in order to create a better meal environment.

The survey targets eight safe food ingredient purchasing companies contracted with national/public, private, and home daycare centers within Mapo-gu.

The survey items consist of questions on the operational system and services such as accuracy of delivery time and frequency, delivery hygiene, as well as satisfaction with food ingredients including price, quality, freshness, and accuracy of origin.

The survey is conducted directly by daycare center directors or cooks within Mapo-gu using the integrated childcare system. If contracted with two or more companies, each company must be evaluated and a survey form submitted.

If any dissatisfaction or areas for improvement are found in the survey results, the issues will be communicated to the respective companies for corrective action.

Additionally, Mapo-gu plans to use the satisfaction survey results in the company selection evaluation in 2025.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, “We have implemented this satisfaction survey of food ingredient companies so that children can grow up healthy with quality meals,” and added, “Mapo-gu will do its best to create a childcare environment where parents can entrust their children with peace of mind.”
