Crazy for Fashion, Shall We Run?... '2024 Style Run with Songpa-gu' Held Seogang-seok, Mayor of Songpa District, Sounds the Opening Shot of Style Run 2023

Songpa-gu (Mayor Seo Gang-seok) announced that the third annual "Style Run with Songpa-gu" will be held on October 6th at 8 a.m. on the lawn plaza of Jamsil Lotte World Tower World Park.

"Style Run with Songpa-gu" is co-hosted by Songpa-gu and Lotte Department Store. This year, the race course has been newly redesigned. Reflecting runners' record certifications and preferences from last year's 7km and 12km courses around Olympic Park, the event has changed to new 5km and 10km courses.

The event is divided into two courses, 5km and 10km, so that people of various age groups as well as beginner runners can participate without burden. Participants can choose a course that matches their fitness and experience level and enjoy a special experience running around the Jamsil area at their own pace.

The theme of the 2024 Style Run is "Fashion." Last year, the festival was held with the concept of "Photography," and this year, with the theme of "Fashion," it will offer a diverse experience beyond a simple running competition, allowing participants to showcase their own style and create joyful memories with friends and family.

Those wishing to participate can refer to the announcements section on the Songpa-gu Office website and register online. Pre-registration is open until August 27th, and main registration runs from August 28th to September 8th, with a first-come, first-served limit of 5,000 participants. Those who pre-register will receive a mobile gift certificate worth 5,000 won.

The participation fee is 50,000 won regardless of whether participants choose the 5km or 10km course, and all participants will receive a running kit consisting of a running T-shirt, socks, and a sports gym bag as a souvenir.

Seo Gang-seok, Mayor of Songpa-gu, said, "The third annual 'Style Run with Songpa-gu' is a unique running festival where you can enjoy running and culture together. We hope many people will participate and take precious memories from Songpa," and added, "We will continue to promote lifestyle sports such as walking competitions for residents' health and create a 'Healthy City Songpa.'"
