Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on the 24th (local time) that the retaliation against Israel related to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Palestinian armed group Hamas, will be carried out "in a timely and calculated manner," according to Iran's ISNA news agency.
According to the report, Minister Araghchi introduced the consultations held with the foreign ministers of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, saying, "This revenge will be executed at the right time and in the right way, and there will be no doubt about its principles."
Minister Araghchi emphasized, "The enemies' attempts to isolate, divide, and polarize within the country have disappeared," adding, "We will unite as a collective to pursue the realization of ideals."
He also stated, "There will be no response to the Zionist (referring to Israel) regime's actions infringing on Iran's security and sovereignty," and added, "Iran will provide a precise and controlled response, considering all dimensions."
