According to the police on the 24th, the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit of the Southern Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency has begun a pre-booking investigation into those who wrote critical posts about the parties involved in this accident on online communities and other platforms.
It has been reported that numerous speculative posts regarding the victims and survivors involved in this fire accident using the hotel on weekdays have been posted on online communities and other sites.
The fire occurred at 7:34 p.m. on the 22nd at a hotel in Jung-dong, Bucheon, resulting in a total of 19 casualties, including 7 deaths and 12 injuries.
