[Weather] Scorching Heat Across Most of the Country on Sunday... Rain Forecasted in Some Areas

On Sunday the 25th, the perceived temperature will rise to 33 to 35 degrees Celsius or higher in most regions nationwide.

In Seoul and northern Gyeonggi, rain is expected between late dawn and morning. In eastern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, eastern inland Jeonnam, southern coastal Jeonnam, Gyeongsang region, and Jeju Island, rain will occur from morning to afternoon. In the Jeolla region and the eastern coast of Gangwon, raindrops less than 0.1 mm are expected.

Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 30 mm in eastern Gyeonggi and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon. Eastern inland Jeonnam, southern coastal Jeonnam, Daegu, southwestern inland Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, Dokdo, and Jeju Island are forecasted to receive 5 to 20 mm.

The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 29 and 35 degrees Celsius. Most regions nationwide will experience hotter weather than usual for this time of year.

Fine dust levels are expected to range from 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all areas.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters.
