At around 10:53 p.m. on the 23rd, Min finished the police investigation held at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul and stated, "I deeply reflect and regret, and I want to sincerely apologize to those who have loved me." It is known that the police questioned Min about the timing and circumstances of drinking, his movement route, and the amount of alcohol consumed.
Earlier, before entering the police investigation at 7:45 p.m. that day, Min told reporters, "I am very sorry. I sincerely reflect on causing great disappointment to many fans and many people." This was the first time Min formally appeared for investigation at the police station since the accident, which occurred 17 days prior, after only undergoing a breathalyzer test and returning home at the time of the incident.
On the 7th, Min was found by police after falling while riding an electric scooter in a drunken state on a street in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. At that time, Min's blood alcohol concentration was 0.227%, far exceeding the license cancellation level of 0.08%. When the blood alcohol concentration exceeds 0.2%, penalties are aggravated, and if convicted, the sentence can be imprisonment for 2 to 5 years or a fine of up to 20 million won.
