Opening Ceremony of Guro Mirae Library Held on the 23rd
Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) held the opening ceremony of the new cultural space, Guro Mirae Library, on the 23rd.
The opening ceremony was attended by about 100 people, including Moon Heon-il, Mayor of Guro-gu, members of the National Assembly, city and district council members, and local residents. The event proceeded with guest introductions, progress reports, congratulatory speeches, commemorative photos, and a tour of the facilities.
Located in front of Exit 3 of Sindorim Station, Guro Mirae Library has a total floor area of 1,444㎡ and consists of three floors above ground. It is equipped with reading rooms, a book caf?, a digital resource room, tiered bookshelves, a children's resource room, club rooms, and an auditorium.
Mayor Moon Heon-il of Guro-gu said, “Until a few years ago, this space was used as a parking lot, so I am pleased that it has been transformed into a library that provides reading culture services to residents. I hope residents will use the library as a comfortable place to visit anytime to nourish their minds, heal, and communicate.”
