Through this project, play-based financial character education will be provided to children who lack educational opportunities. Since 2011 until last year, the Exchange has trained 1,293 university student volunteers and provided education to 18,583 children.

This year, 50 university student volunteers will be dispatched to about 600 children at 51 local children's centers to conduct 10 sessions of financial and character education each.

Jung Eun-bo, Chairman of the Korea Exchange, said, "Since the role of the university student volunteer group is very important in helping children form proper values, I hope they become mentors who have a positive influence." He added, "The Exchange plans to continue supporting various educational activities so that children can easily understand finance and economics and grow up healthily."
