Python Hiding in Toilet Attacks Man
"Lucky It's Not a Venomous Snake... Always Check the Toilet"
A Thai man was bitten on his genitals by a snake while sitting on the toilet to relieve himself.
The Thai media outlet Bangkok Post reported on the 22nd (local time) that a man named Thanat experienced this incident in Samut Prakan. According to the report, as soon as Thanat sat on the toilet, he felt severe pain in his genitals. Startled, he looked into the toilet and encountered a huge python. The snake hiding in the toilet had bitten Thanat's testicles.
When he immediately stood up, the snake fell back into the toilet. Thanat tried to pull the snake out but was unable to do so. Eventually, he used the toilet brush in the bathroom to hit the snake several times and called a security guard for help. He was promptly taken to the hospital to treat his wounds. Fortunately, the snake was not venomous, so his condition was not critical.
The photo Thanat shared showed the python lying dead draped over the toilet. There were clear bloodstains on the bathroom floor.
He said, "The snake bit harder and harder, causing quite a bit of bleeding," adding, "I was shocked by the tremendous pain, but even more shocked to have encountered a python in the bathroom." He continued, "I'm really relieved it wasn't a venomous snake, but since the incident, I always put the toilet brush inside the toilet to check if anything is there before using it."
