Police Agency Conducts Personnel Changes for 386 Senior Superintendents... Establishes Security Crime Analysis Division

On the 22nd, the National Police Agency appointed Hwang Young-sun, head of the Security Planning and Management Division, as the head of the newly established Security Crime Analysis Division under the Security Investigation Bureau, conducting personnel changes for a total of 386 police superintendents.

Police Chief Jo Ji-ho established the Security Crime Analysis Division to strengthen counterintelligence investigation capabilities. It is expected to unify the previously scattered functions of security investigation intelligence collection and information analysis, thereby enhancing the expertise of counterintelligence investigations.

Jung Yeon-won, chief of Jeongseon Police Station in Gangwon, was appointed as the Public Relations Officer of the National Police Agency, and Lee Chang-yeol, superintendent of the Personnel Information Management Unit in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Planning Division, was appointed as the Inspection Officer. Bin Jung-seok, chief of Jongno Police Station in Seoul, will serve as the Planning Officer of the National Police Agency, and Lee Yong-wook, chief of Jungbu Police Station in Seoul, will take charge as the Personnel Officer of the National Police Agency.
