Advance Settlement by up to 10 Days for 2,000+ Small and Medium Partner Companies
Shinsegae Group announced on the 21st that it will make early payments for delivery fees to small and medium-sized partner companies ahead of the 2024 Chuseok holiday.
Five affiliates, including Emart, Shinsegae Department Store, Shinsegae DF, SSG.com, and Shinsegae L&B, will participate in this early payment of delivery fees. The early payment will be made to about 2,000 partner companies, amounting to 260 billion KRW.
Shinsegae Group will advance the payment schedule for delivery fees by up to 10 days from the usual settlement date, making payments between September 10 and 13 ahead of Chuseok. The reason for advancing the payment is to help small and medium-sized partner companies manage their holiday funds amid difficulties caused by high interest rates and inflation.
Meanwhile, Emart and Shinsegae Department Store have been operating a win-win growth fund since 2011 to help partner companies obtain loans at low interest rates, continuing various activities for mutual growth.
A Shinsegae Group official said, "Ahead of the holiday season, when there is a high demand for funds such as employee wages, bonuses, and raw material payments, we are advancing the payment of delivery fees to small and medium-sized partner companies," adding, "We will make multifaceted efforts to grow together with our partners."
