On the 20th, an opening ceremony was held to celebrate the start of the museum. About 120 people attended, including Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, Dobong-gu Mayor Oh Eon-seok, city and district council members, domestic and international partner companies, and professors.
At the event, Dobong-gu Mayor Oh Eon-seok said in his congratulatory speech, "With the Seoul Robot Artificial Intelligence Science Museum established in Chang-dong, Dobong-gu, Chang-dong will truly become a mecca of the robot industry." He added, "As the museum is the first facility in Korea to handle robots and artificial intelligence, I hope it will not only showcase cutting-edge technology but also serve as a space to think about and discuss robots, artificial intelligence, and humans."
The Seoul Robot Artificial Intelligence Science Museum was built with a total floor area of 7,405㎡, spanning from basement level 2 to the 4th floor above ground. It consists of ▲basement levels 1-2 parking lots ▲1st floor lobby and convenience facilities ▲2nd floor multipurpose space ▲3rd floor permanent exhibition space ▲4th floor planned exhibition space.
