Samsung Electronics 'Bespoke AI Steam' Updates Steam Concentration Mode

Samsung Electronics announced on the 21st that it will provide a 'Steam Concentration Mode' for the water mop automatic cleaning robot vacuum cleaner 'Bespoke AI Steam' through 'Smart Forward'.

Smart Forward is a service that provides regular and continuous software updates to home appliances, allowing the latest features to be applied even if the product is not new.

With this Steam Concentration Mode update, the Bespoke AI Steam has extended the water mop steam spraying time by 80 seconds from the previous 160 seconds to 240 seconds, enhancing its sterilization and deodorization performance.

A Samsung Electronics official explained, "Without using cleaning agents for robot vacuum cleaners, it sterilizes and deodorizes odor-causing substances using only water and steam, making it safer to use in households with infants or pets."

First launched domestically in April, the Bespoke AI Steam is an all-in-one product capable of both dust suction and water mop cleaning with a single vacuum cleaner. Thanks to the popularity of the Bespoke AI Steam, Samsung Electronics' robot vacuum cleaner sales increased fourfold compared to the previous year.

Since the product launch, Samsung Electronics has provided various updates including ▲threshold position designation ▲grid cleaning of specific areas ▲separation of cleaning and movement paths ▲map display of dropped mop locations ▲and improved usability of SmartThings. In the upcoming fourth quarter, through Smart Forward, the Bespoke AI Steam plans to introduce a feature that detects fallen people and notifies their family.

Yoo Mi-young, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' DA Division, said, "We have updated the Steam Concentration Mode, which can safely sterilize and deodorize without cleaning agents, for consumers who are concerned about water mop hygiene and odors during the hot and humid summer season," adding, "We plan to continue providing functional updates that reflect consumers' needs."
