Israel Military Bombs Gaza School... Claims "Hamas Command and Control Center"

On the morning of the 20th (local time), the Israeli military bombed a school building in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, killing at least seven people, AFP reported.

A Gaza Strip civil defense official claimed, "An Israeli aircraft dropped bombs on the second floor of a school building sheltering thousands of refugees," resulting in the deaths of at least seven people, including two children and five men.

The Israeli military acknowledged the school bombing in a statement, saying, "We carried out a precision strike on the Mustafa Kaft school complex, which was hiding the Hamas terrorist organization's command and control center," but added that "various measures were taken to minimize civilian casualties."

Earlier, on the 10th, the Israeli military also bombed a school building in Al-Batain, Gaza City, targeting Hamas. At that time, Hamas claimed that a total of 93 people died, including 11 children and six women. However, the Israeli military only reported that 31 Hamas and Islamic Jihad (PIJ) militants were killed and did not mention civilian casualties.
