Scheduled for Completion in December 2027
Goryeong-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, announced on the 20th that it has been finally selected for the "2024 First Half Job-Linked Support Housing Public Offering Project" hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The job-linked support housing is a rental housing for young workers that combines residential and job support facilities. With this selection, Goryeong-gun will receive 4 billion KRW in support for housing construction costs from national funds and the Housing and Urban Fund loans.
Goryeong-gun plans to invest a total project cost of 7 billion KRW, including national funds and the fund budget, to construct 26 units of public rental housing in the Beolji-ri area of Dasan-myeon by December 2027.
The eligible residents include young people (aged 19-39) or newlyweds (married within 7 years or with children under 6 years old, prospective couples) among employees of small and medium-sized enterprises, industrial complex tenant companies, and entrepreneurs, as well as single-parent families with children under 6 years old, and employees with minor children who have been in service for more than 5 years.
With this selection, Goryeong-gun is comprehensively planning a new residential welfare town in connection with the youth complex return-to-farming town and the Millennium Architecture Pilot Village project in the Beolji-ri area of Dasan-myeon.
Goryeong-gun (Governor Lee Namcheol) said, "By constructing job-linked public rental housing, we will provide a stable residential environment for young people and workers in small and medium-sized enterprises."
