Minju: "Gukhim should hold an urgent Timf emergency meeting in the Political Affairs Committee"

The Democratic Party of Korea on the 20th urged, regarding the 'Timon-Wemakeprice (Timemep) sales payment settlement crisis,' "Since the chairman of the Political Affairs Committee is from the People Power Party, the chairman should immediately accept the request for a Timemep-related issue meeting and express willingness to cooperate in convening it."


Members of the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee from the Democratic Party stated through a signed letter that afternoon, "The Timemep crisis is escalating into a more serious phase, so an urgent issue meeting at the Political Affairs Committee level must be held promptly to swiftly secure momentum for resolving the situation."


They expressed concern, saying, "The fallout from the Timemep sales payment settlement crisis, the largest online platform disaster in history, is spreading like wildfire," and "it is a serious situation where even wholesale and supply businesses that have transactional relationships with tenant businesses are at risk of a chain bankruptcy."
