InnoBiz Association - Agreement Signed with City of Fullerton, USA
The Inno-Biz Association (Small and Medium Business Technology Innovation Association) is taking steps to establish a foothold for Inno-Biz companies' entry into the North American market.
On the 30th, the Inno-Biz Association announced that it signed a business agreement at the association's office in Pangyo, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, with the city of Fullerton, California, USA, to support Inno-Biz companies' entry into the North American market and to promote investment.

This agreement was arranged to expand exchanges, considering that about 47% of Inno-Biz companies are export companies, and especially that the export share to the North American region is the second highest (Asia 82.7%, North America 42.7%, Europe 35.7%). The association was represented by Chairman Jeong Gwangcheon and Director Baek Seonguk (CEO of Hightecher Co., Ltd.), while Fullerton was represented by Vice Mayor Fred Jeong and others.
Jeong Gwangcheon, Chairman of the Inno-Biz Association, stated, "Inno-Biz companies need to expand beyond the domestic market to the global market through innovative and challenging research and development," adding, "Following this business agreement, we plan to continuously expand cooperation with Fullerton by preparing concrete measures for Inno-Biz companies' entry into the North American market."
Meanwhile, Fullerton is a city close to Los Angeles (LA) International Airport and port, serving as a logistics and distribution hub with well-established residential, industrial, educational, and cultural environments. Since Fred Jeong, the current Vice Mayor, was elected as Fullerton's first Korean mayor in 2022 and served until 2023, the city has been strengthening cooperation with Korea by leveraging the characteristics of the area where many Koreans reside.
