Socar announced on the 20th that it will participate in the '2024 Korea Accommodation Sale Festa with Chuseok Holiday.'
This event, held from the 27th of this month to the 29th of next month, is a public-private cooperation project hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization to revitalize domestic travel and stimulate consumption.
Accommodations nationwide, excluding the metropolitan area, can be booked at a discount of up to 30,000 KRW. During the event period, customers can receive one 30,000 KRW discount coupon and one 20,000 KRW discount coupon on a first-come, first-served basis. The 30,000 KRW coupon applies to accommodation reservations over 70,000 KRW, and the 20,000 KRW coupon applies to reservations under 70,000 KRW. Coupons can only be used for stays between the 9th of next month and October 13, based on the check-in date.
Socar offers additional exclusive benefits for members booking accommodations through the Korea Accommodation Sale Festa. First, it provides an extra coupon pack that can be used in conjunction with the discount coupons offered by the Korea Accommodation Sale Festa.
The coupon pack includes a total discount value of 500,000 KRW, consisting of ▲ two 5,000 KRW discount coupons (for reservations over 70,000 KRW) ▲ three 10,000 KRW discount coupons (for reservations over 100,000 KRW) ▲ two 15,000 KRW discount coupons (for reservations over 150,000 KRW) ▲ four 20,000 KRW discount coupons (for reservations over 200,000 KRW) ▲ two 30,000 KRW discount coupons (for reservations over 300,000 KRW) ▲ two 45,000 KRW discount coupons (for reservations over 400,000 KRW) ▲ two 100,000 KRW discount coupons (for reservations over 1,000,000 KRW). For example, when booking accommodation worth 130,000 KRW, customers can apply both the 30,000 KRW discount coupon from the Korea Accommodation Sale Festa and a 10,000 KRW discount coupon from Socar to pay only 90,000 KRW.
When booking accommodations at a discount, Socar discount benefits also follow. Socar members who book accommodations during the event period will receive discount coupons for 75% and 55% off Socar rental fees. The 75% discount coupon applies to reservations made more than 7 days in advance and can be used for rentals of 24 hours or longer. The 55% discount coupon applies only to reservations made within 7 days and can be used for rentals under 10 hours.
Customers booking accommodations for the first time on Socar will also receive Socar credits. During this Korea Accommodation Sale Festa period, customers who make their first accommodation reservation and complete check-in on Socar will be awarded 10,000 credits, which can be used like cash within the Socar application. Credits will be distributed collectively on October 14, after the event ends, and must be used within 30 days.
