26 Companies' Products Exhibited at Lotte Mall Suji Branch
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 20th that it will hold the 'Market Alchadao' event on the 24th at Lotte Mall Suji Branch in Seongbok-dong, Suji-gu, showcasing products produced by 26 local social economy enterprises.
This event, co-planned by the city and Lotte Mall, was organized to promote the excellence of products made by social economy enterprises to consumers and to spread an ethical consumption culture.
At the event, companies such as ▲Hi-Mill Co., Ltd. ▲Chammat Social Cooperative ▲Gyoadang Co., Ltd. ▲Wenddeok Village Agricultural Cooperative ▲Dihae Cooperative ▲365 Culture and Arts Center Co., Ltd. ▲Future Talent Development Cooperative ▲Cooperative Woonkim ▲Mir Forest Ecology Research Institute Co., Ltd. will showcase over 80 products including food, daily necessities, handicrafts, and scientific teaching aids.
Visitors will also be able to find products from cooperatives and village enterprises from Chuncheon, Jeonju, Pyeongtaek, Uijeongbu, Hanam, Seongnam, Gwangmyeong, Siheung, and Gimpo.
Various experience corners have been prepared for visitors. 'Sagyeongmigam,' Yongin City's social economy joint brand, has set up a booth where children can experience packaged products. On the 4th floor Green Hall of Lotte Mall Suji Branch, visitors can experience flower herbariums, scientific teaching aids, and clay. There will also be prize-giving events through social economy board games and quiz events.
The city plans to set up a social economy promotion center within the event venue to inform visitors about the concept of social economy, the roles and types of social economy enterprises, and to introduce the roles of related organizations such as the City Social Economy Support Center.
