Gyeongbuk Women's Business Association Donates 11 Million Won for Low Birthrate Fund to Gyeongbuk Province

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Women's Business Association delivered a donation of 11 million KRW to Gyeongsangbuk-do through the Community Chest of Korea on the 19th at the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Government to help overcome the low birth rate.


Kim Myora, President of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Women's Business Association, said, "I am pleased to participate in the war against the low birth rate being promoted by Gyeongsangbuk-do," and added, "As a female entrepreneur, I deeply empathize with the issue of low birth rates, and I will consider what businesses can do to help overcome this challenge."

Lee Cheolwoo, Governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do, stated, "Thank you for your donation. Overcoming the low birth rate is only possible if we win the hearts of women and improve their quality of life," and requested, "I ask that female entrepreneurs in the province take the lead in implementing business policies that win the hearts of women."


The Gyeongsangbuk-do Women's Business Association is an organization established to promote information exchange and the rights and interests of female entrepreneurs in areas such as management, finance, and marketing. It is comprised of 260 members who are female representatives of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies.
