Trump posts AI fake photo 'supporting Taylor Swift' and says "Accepted"

Former U.S. President Donald Trump is facing criticism on the 19th (local time) for posting a fake photo of pop star Taylor Swift supporting him.

On the previous day, Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social a photo of Taylor Swift and Swifties supporting him, stating "I accept."

Among the photos posted by Trump is a parody of the so-called 'Uncle Sam' recruitment poster, featuring Swift dressed as Uncle Sam with the phrase "Taylor wants you to vote for Trump." There is also a photo of Swift's fans wearing T-shirts that say "Swifties for Trump."

CNN and others reported, "Some of the photos posted by former President Trump appear to have been generated by artificial intelligence (AI)."

Swift is a prominent Democratic supporter in the U.S. entertainment industry and publicly supported President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2020 presidential election. At that time, she also posted tweets criticizing former President Trump. However, she has not yet officially expressed support for any candidate in this election. With the Democratic National Convention starting today, there is speculation about Swift's possible appearance.

Recently, a concert photo posted on her Instagram account showed a shadow resembling Vice President Harris, leading to speculation that a support declaration for Harris was imminent, but it was revealed to be a backing singer.

Earlier, on the 11th, former President Trump posted a photo of supporters gathering at a Michigan airport when Vice President Harris arrived, claiming the photo was manipulated by AI. However, the crowd was broadcast live on television at the time. This led to voices within the Republican Party calling for election campaigns to focus on policies rather than crowds or personal attacks.
