On the 19th, Pfil announced, "We officially signed an agent contract with shooter Kim Yeji the day before." Pfil stated, "Based on our experience in managing actors and entertainers, we plan to actively support Kim Yeji's domestic and international activities and help her shine on various stages."
On the 28th of last month (local time), Kim Yeji won the silver medal in the women's 10m air pistol individual event at the Paris Olympics held at the Ch?teauroux Shooting Center in France, following Oh Yejin (IBK Industrial Bank). However, the video that gained attention on social media was not from the Olympic event but from the ISSF Shooting World Cup 25m pistol final held in Baku, Azerbaijan, in May. At that time, Kim Yeji set a new world record with 42 points and won the gold medal. In the footage, Kim Yeji shot the last bullet wearing her cap backward, checked the target with a cold expression, and then confirmed the pistol’s safety lock. Despite setting a world record, she maintained a calm and expressionless face until the end, which led to comparisons with a 'killer' character from a movie. Notably, Elon Musk tweeted on X, "She should be cast in an action movie. No acting needed." Subsequently, Kim Yeji was also selected as one of NBC’s Top 10 Trending Stars of the Paris Olympics.

Pfil plans to utilize its IT-based platform and short-form content production capabilities to support Kim Yeji’s global expansion and increase opportunities for communication with fans. They also added that Kim Yeji may appear in TV programs or movies such as variety shows and dramas if necessary to promote shooting. This week, Kim Yeji will begin her activities as a model with a photoshoot for Louis Vuitton. Although this Louis Vuitton shoot is a one-time session rather than an advertising contract, the fact that Kim Yeji, whose main profession is a shooter, was selected as a photo model highlights her status as a trending figure. It is known that about 20 companies, including gaming and food companies, have sent advertising 'love calls' to Kim Yeji, and there are also about 10 requests for her to appear on broadcasts.
Meanwhile, Kim Yeji recently made a charitable donation of 5 million won to a support project for elderly people living alone. On the 18th, she posted on her Instagram, "I chose this way to repay the hearts of everyone who trusted and supported me," adding, "I hope my small contribution will help improve the environment and provide better food, clothing, and shelter. I am always grateful and thankful." She also shared the news of her donation.
