The recent Health Nanuri Camp was held in cooperation with the Hallyeohaesang National Park Ecological Exploration Center in Tongyeong, Gyeongnam, with around 30 participants, including families of children with environmentally-induced diseases. The camp featured education on disease prevention and nature experience programs.

The Dong-A University Environmental Health Center designed separate educational programs for guardians and children to provide tailored education. For guardians, there was a lecture and Q&A session by expert Dr. Kim Nathan on the topic "Understanding and Managing Environmentally-Induced Diseases."

The Dong-A University Environmental Health Center also produces its own educational videos every year on various environmental health issues and utilizes them in its programs.

In this program, child-friendly educational videos were used to teach the definition of fine dust, response strategies according to concentration levels, and the impact of microplastics on the environment.

After watching the videos, children reviewed what they learned through quizzes, participated in hands-on activities such as coloring eco-bags with designs related to environmental protection, and shared their thoughts, all of which helped deepen their understanding of environmental health issues.

The Dong-A University Environmental Health Center is making efforts to improve public health and welfare by establishing a preemptive monitoring system for environmentally-induced diseases, conducting various surveys and research, and building a communication system with Busan citizens regarding risks and disasters.
