Changnyeong-gun Conducts Nonviolent Communication Training for Children and Youth in Integrated Case Management

Learning to Share and Comfort: How to Listen with Empathy and Speak Honestly

Changnyeong County in Gyeongnam announced on the 19th that the Changnyeong County Case Management Support Center conducted a "Comforting Heart Sharing" nonviolent communication training for 10 children and adolescents from integrated case management households.


This training, which covered topics such as ▲expressing my body and mind ▲how to communicate anger safely ▲understanding differences in perspectives that cause misunderstandings, was led by Lee Haejin, a member of the Gyeongnam Office of Education School Violence Relationship Recovery Support Group, and was conducted in the form of play.

An official from the county said, "We hope that children and adolescents who are not skilled at expressing their emotions were able to learn how to understand their own feelings and empathize with others through this training, helping them to form healthy social relationships."


Meanwhile, the Changnyeong County Case Management Support Center not only provides customized education for children and adolescents, but also develops welfare resources and carries out various activities to provide tailored welfare services to local residents.
