Recruitment of 60 Households in Jangjeon 1-2, Udong 2, Minrak 1, and Daeyeon 1
Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC) is recruiting preliminary tenants for 60 units in four redevelopment rental housing complexes.
Redevelopment rental housing is a system in which Busan Metropolitan City purchases rental housing built through housing redevelopment projects under the Urban and Residential Environment Improvement Act to ensure housing stability for low-income groups, and BMC is entrusted with its operation. The rental contract period is two years, and tenants can reside for up to 30 years.
Since 2013, BMC has supplied a total of 728 redevelopment rental housing units across 11 districts to households without homes residing in Busan.
This announcement seeks to recruit 60 preliminary tenants for four complexes: Jangjeon 1-2 (Byeoksan Blooming Design City), Udong 2 (Haeundae Xi), Millak 1 (The Sharp Centum Foret), and Daeyeon 1 (Daeyeon Lotte Castle).
Applicants must be members of non-homeowner households residing in Busan who meet the income and asset criteria. Preliminary tenants will be selected in order of highest score based on criteria such as applicant’s age, number of dependents, and the number of subscription savings payments made.
Applications can be submitted online through the BMC Subscription Center for two days starting on the 27th, and for those who have difficulty with online applications, such as the elderly, on-site applications will also be accepted from 10:00 a.m. on the 27th to 4:00 p.m. on the 28th. Detailed information on supply area, application procedures, and rental conditions can be found in the announcement posted on the rental notice section of the Busan Metropolitan Corporation website.
Kim Yonghak, President of Busan Metropolitan Corporation, stated, "We hope to provide Busan citizens with a pleasant and safe residential environment through the recruitment of preliminary tenants for redevelopment rental housing," and added, "The corporation will continue to do its best to ensure housing stability for Busan citizens through continuous supply of public rental housing and tailored housing welfare."
