Invitation to Woo Min-ho's Film 'Haerbin' Gala Presentation
Actors Hyun Bin and Lee Dong-wook, along with director Woo Min-ho, are heading to Toronto, Canada next month.
Distributor CJ ENM announced on the 19th that the film Harbin has been invited to the Gala Presentation section of the 29th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), which will be held in Toronto, Canada from the 5th to the 15th of next month.
Harbin will have its world premiere on September 8 (local time) at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto. On that day, Hyun Bin, Lee Dong-wook, and director Woo will walk the red carpet before the screening. The following day, an event titled “In Conversation with Hyun Bin, Lee Dong-wook” will be held at TIFF Bell Lightbox. This is one of the main programs of the festival, where directors or actors are invited to answer audience questions about the film. The event will be hosted by festival programmer Anita Lee. This year, director Steven Soderbergh, Kate Blanchett from Rumors, and Zo? Salda?a from Emilia Perez will also attend.
Harbin depicts a tense chase and suspicion between those heading to Harbin for a single purpose in 1909 and those pursuing them. Hyun Bin plays Ahn Jung-geun, and Lee Dong-wook plays Lee Chang-seop. The film is directed by Woo Min-ho, who also directed Inside Men (2015) and Secret Zoo (2020).
