On the 18th, local Thai media reported that on the 5th, TikToker Padi Rose (19) was on a train traveling from Narathiwat to Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The train stopped at Phatthalung Station in Phatthalung Province in southern Thailand, and as it was just departing, she was hanging onto the train car door to film a video when she collided with a pillar installed on the platform.

The video taken by Padi and her group at the time captured the moment Rose, with romantic background music playing, leaned her body out of the moving train like a movie protagonist while hanging onto the door handle of the train car, and then hit the platform pillar. Rose sat down after receiving a blow to her head and tried hard to hold onto the handle, but soon lost consciousness and fell onto the tracks.

Rose was taken to the hospital and underwent several tests. A brain X-ray revealed swelling and a lump on her head. Fortunately, the hospital diagnosed no direct brain damage and treated Rose before sending her home. It is estimated that the damage was minimal because the train was moving slowly at the time.

The incident became known after the railway company released the accident video on the 13th to urge passengers to follow safety rules. Ekarat Sriarayanphong, head of the Thai State Railway (SRT) office, said, "A Malaysian girl who was trying to film a video for TikTok was transported to the hospital for examination. Although the train was moving slowly and she was not seriously injured, such behavior is very reckless and dangerous and can lead to serious accidents or death."

The SRT stated, "The train involved in the accident was old and worn, and there were no separate safety devices in the space between the train cars. Passengers should not stick any part of their body outside until the train arrives at the station." They also instructed crew members to increase the frequency of safety inspections and provide safety guidance to passengers. If passengers are found attempting dangerous behavior, they are to be warned immediately, and those who do not comply are to be promptly removed from the train.
