Gu Ja-eun, Chairman of LS Group, recently met with Revanth Reddy, Chief Minister of Telangana, India, to discuss business cooperation.
According to industry sources on the 18th, Chairman Gu met with Chief Minister Reddy, who visited Seoul, at the LS Tower in Yongsan-gu on the 12th to discuss investment cooperation plans in electricity and cables, gas and energy, and batteries.
The meeting was also attended by LS executives including Vice Chairman Myung Noh-hyun and President Ahn Won-hyung. Shortly after the meeting, Chief Minister Reddy posted on his social media, "I started the day with extensive discussions with LS," adding, "We talked about a wide range of interests, including manufacturing investments in Telangana for electric cables, gas and energy, and batteries."
Currently, LS Cable & System, an affiliate of LS Group, established the LSCI plant in 2008 on a 162,000㎡ (approximately 49,000 pyeong) site in Bawal, Haryana, northern India, supplying power and communication cables and components.
