Recently, JayJay, the wife of model Julian Kang, invited beauty creator Company Employee A as a guest on her YouTube channel TMI JeeEun to reveal their failed items together. This was through a video titled "The reason why I never even opened a 15 million won bag and just piled it up."

Company Employee A referred to herself as a "consumer fanatic" and listed high-end brand products such as Miu Miu coat, Thom Browne setup, Prada setup, and Prada coat as shopping failures. She also recalled her past obsession with department store VIP status. "On my YouTube channel, I followed department store VIPs and made content like 'Please give me the cheapest item here.' That made me obsessed too," she said. "I wanted to be treated as a VIP once. So I spent a huge amount of money at department stores, but nothing remains. I became a 'Jasmine Blue' VIP, but I still haven't bought a house," she confessed. It is known that to become a 'Jasmine Blue' VIP, one of the department store VIP tiers, you need to spend about 80 million to 100 million won.

Especially when revealing the recently purchased 15 million won Hermes Bolide bag, she said, "I'm opening it for the first time today. Kelly and Birkin are the top-tier, and these days this line has also become rare. It costs about 15 million won, but it arrived by quick delivery and I left it unopened in the shopping bag. This made me realize my shopping addiction." She added, "I buy things but don't even open the boxes and just pile them up. The moment I click to buy at the mall feels good, but when the delivery arrives, all my enthusiasm disappears." She continued, "When I thought about what kind of feelings lead me to shop, it was when I was bored and lonely. How do I deal with this bored and lonely feeling? I ate sweets, shopped, and spent money, but I don't know what to do now," she lamented.

"I spent all the money I earned without installments. Then I realized this time that I'm basically broke," she said. "I admit it was totally conspicuous consumption. I can't completely quit, but I've done enough now."
