On the 16th, Hong Kong media South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported that on the 27th of last month, a woman in her 30s, identified as A, fell from a nearby cliff in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, and was rescued. At the time, A had a severe argument with her husband B, who had come to pick her up after work. The husband, emotionally agitated, stopped the car and tried to strangle A, even pulling out a weapon and threatening to "kill her." Their two young children, aged 6 years and 5 months, were in the back seat, but B paid no attention to them.

As the quarrel continued, the husband forcefully pushed A out of the car. Thrown out, A fell into a valley 10 meters below the roadside, with her children watching. Despite witnessing this, B did not attempt to rescue his wife and drove away from the scene.

A suffered serious injuries from the fall but gathered her strength by thinking of her children and began crawling up the valley. After a grueling 9-hour struggle, she reached the road and sought help from passersby, who took her to the hospital. Hospital officials stated that A sustained severe injuries including spinal damage, fractured waist, and broken limbs, but her life was not in danger.

The life-saving A reportedly said, "When I imagined my 5-month-old and 6-year-old children growing up without their mother, I thought I absolutely had to survive."

Husband B was arrested immediately after the incident on charges of attempted murder. Investigations revealed that he had a prior record of assaulting relatives, and SCMP reported that he could face up to 20 years in prison for this crime.

Local netizens who heard the news responded with comments such as "A mother's love for her children is limitless," "She survived by the power of a mother," and "He is unworthy of being a husband or a father."
