Park Chan-dae, Acting Party Leader and Floor Leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized on the 16th that "the fate of the country is hanging by a thread due to the tyranny of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration."
Park, acting leader, said at the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly that morning, "The foundation of the nation, the livelihood of the people, is being shaken to its roots."
He pointed out, "With simultaneous sluggishness in domestic demand and exports, the growth rate is declining, self-employed businesses are going bankrupt in large numbers, there is an astronomical tax revenue shortfall, and household debt is exploding, creating crises on all sides," adding, "due to the president's political retaliation and media suppression that he has clung to for two years, the democracy index and press freedom index are also repeatedly plummeting."
He continued, "Moreover, due to incompetent security, national secrets have been completely leaked, and even incidents like North Korea's trash balloons covering the Seoul metropolitan area have occurred," "the livelihood economy is in a state of collapse, democracy is collapsing, and peace and security are even missing, creating a total crisis unfolding on all sides."

Park, acting leader, raised his voice, saying, "But the president was not satisfied with this and forcibly carried out a historical coup that destroys the identity and legitimacy of the Republic of Korea," adding, "The pro-Japanese forces hidden behind the regime's blatant favoritism toward Japan and denial of the independence movement are also raising their heads."
Regarding Liberation Day the previous day, he explained, "On KBS, a public broadcaster, the first broadcast on Liberation Day played the Kimigayo, and a book containing slander that insults Kim Gu as a terrorist was even published," adding, "It is said that the Dokdo sculpture installed in the Seoul subway station is also being quietly removed."
He then emphasized, "Liberation Day, which should be a day to share the joy of independence, has become a pro-Japanese resurrection day where pro-Japanese forces run wild, and the responsibility for this tragic situation lies entirely with the president," "However, President Yoon mocked the people by repeating shabby blame-shifting and passing responsibility in yesterday's congratulatory speech instead of reflection and apology."
Park, acting leader, claimed, "At this point, hasn't the Joseon Governor-General's Office been resurrected as the Yongsan Presidential Office?" "There is no place for a treasonous regime that goes against public sentiment and denies history. The people will no longer tolerate it."
