Since 2017, Yuhan Corporation has been donating Antiphlamin products in collaboration with veterans offices in the Seoul area for elderly national veterans. Over the past eight years, Antiphlamin sharing boxes have been delivered to a total of 6,361 national veterans. The Korean Pharmaceutical Association, sympathizing with the purpose of the project, has also participated annually since 2022 in August by having affiliated pharmacists visit the homes of national veterans to provide medication guidance volunteer activities.

This year as well, the Seoul area veterans offices and the Korean Pharmaceutical Association plan to deliver Antiphlamin sharing boxes made by Yuhan Corporation employees to 1,024 low-income national veterans. Kim Jeong-sun, Welfare Director of the Seoul Southern Veterans Affairs Office, said, “Most elderly national veterans frequently need patches due to muscle pain and arthritis,” adding, “Yuhan Corporation’s continuous donations are providing practical help to the elderly.” She continued, “The home visit medication guidance volunteer service by pharmacists, which started in 2022, is very well received by the elderly,” and “By visiting homes directly to provide customized medication guidance and answering questions about medication use, it greatly helps the health management of the elderly.”

Kim Eun-joo, Vice President of the Korean Pharmaceutical Association, also said, “Elderly national veterans face difficulties due to health problems, and if our small help can bring positive changes to their lives, it is truly rewarding,” adding, “We will continue to participate in such meaningful projects to help more people in the future.”
