On the 15th, Gyeongsangnam-do held a ceremony celebrating the 79th anniversary of Liberation Day at the convention hall of the Changwon Convention Center.

Approximately 500 people attended the ceremony, including Governor Park Wansu, Provincial Council Chairman Choi Hakbeom, Superintendent of Education Park Jonghun, 39th Infantry Division Commander Kim Jongmuk, Gyeongnam Eastern Veterans Affairs Office Director Cho Kyungchul, independence patriots and their families, as well as local residents. They commemorated Liberation Day and shouted "Long live Korean independence!"
