Even Ryan Reynolds Is Impressed
Actress Jennifer Garner (52) has once again showcased her perfect figure in her 50s as she returned to the Marvel series after 20 years.
Recently, Jennifer Garner revealed her workout routine on social media (SNS) that she followed to appear in the movie 'Deadpool and Wolverine.' In the past, she starred as the lead character Elektra in the 2005 Marvel film 'Elektra,' and now, 20 years later, she is reprising the same role in 'Deadpool and Wolverine.'
Recalling the moment when director Shawn Levy and actor Ryan Reynolds offered her the role in 'Deadpool and Wolverine,' she said, "An impossible dream became reality," adding, "I intensified my training and body care." To bring back the Elektra from 20 years ago, she engaged in various exercises including weight training such as push-ups and squats, swimming, running, boxing, jogging, and trampoline workouts.
Ryan Reynolds, who co-starred in 'Deadpool and Wolverine,' watched the video and exclaimed, "You are a legend." Jennifer Garner's fitness coach also praised her, saying, "The way you trained was the best. I'm really proud of you." Additionally, famous actors like Tracee Ellis Ross, Eva Longoria, Rita Wilson, and Nathan Fillion left comments applauding Jennifer Garner's efforts.
Jennifer Garner also shared her thoughts on appearing in 'Deadpool and Wolverine,' saying, "Filming the fight scenes was really fun, and being together felt like a dream. I'm proud of the cast and grateful to be able to work with them."
The movie 'Deadpool and Wolverine' recorded a global box office revenue of $1,029.53 million (approximately 1.4063 trillion KRW). This is the second film to surpass $1 billion in worldwide box office revenue after 'Inside Out 2,' and ranks as the second highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, following 'Joker' (2019), which earned $1.078 billion.
