Slight Decrease Compared to First Half of Last Year

LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo received a total compensation of 5.839 billion KRW during the first half of this year.

According to the semi-annual report disclosed by LG Corporation on the 14th, Chairman Koo received a salary of 2.338 billion KRW and a bonus of 3.51 billion KRW in the first half. This is a slight decrease compared to the first half of last year (5.995 billion KRW).


LG Corporation stated, "The compensation was determined considering the achievements made in a management environment where external uncertainties such as market contraction due to the slowdown in global economic growth have intensified," and added, "We took into account contributions to business structure advancement for discovering future growth engines from a long-term perspective, enhancing business competitiveness, fostering entrepreneurs, and strengthening organizational capabilities."


Meanwhile, Vice Chairman Kwon Bong-seok received a total of 2.32 billion KRW, including a salary of 922 million KRW and a bonus of 1.38 billion KRW. President Ha Beom-jong was reported to have received a total of 855 million KRW, including a salary of 471 million KRW and a bonus of 382 million KRW.
