Chung Eui-sun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, received over 3.7 billion KRW in compensation from Hyundai Motor and Hyundai Mobis in the first half of this year.


According to the semi-annual reports of Hyundai Motor and Hyundai Mobis on the 14th, Chairman Chung received a total of 3.718 billion KRW from the two companies where he serves as CEO during the first half of the year. From Hyundai Motor, he received a total of 2.287 billion KRW, including a salary of 2 billion KRW and other labor income of 287 million KRW. From Hyundai Mobis, he received a total of 1.431 billion KRW, including a salary of 1.25 billion KRW and other income such as welfare benefits and long-term service awards amounting to 181 million KRW.


Chairman Chung receives a salary from Hyundai Motor and Hyundai Mobis, excluding Kia, among Hyundai Motor Group affiliates.


Besides Chairman Chung, Jose Munoz, President of Hyundai Motor (Global Affairs), received 1.245 billion KRW, Jang Jae-hoon, President of Hyundai Motor (CEO), received 709 million KRW, and Lee Dong-seok, President of Hyundai Motor (CEO), received 559 million KRW as compensation in the first half of this year. Shin Jae-won, Head of Hyundai Motor's Future Air Mobility Division, received 813 million KRW.


At Hyundai Mobis, CEO Lee Kyu-seok received 506 million KRW.
