HLB Global recorded an operating profit in the first half of this year, raising expectations for achieving its best performance this year.
On the 14th, HLB Global announced that it recorded cumulative sales of 40.32024 billion KRW in the first half on a separate basis. It achieved an operating profit of 3.57327 billion KRW and a net profit of 2.3094 billion KRW.
HLB Global's M&A growth strategy, which expanded its business area into the online commerce sector and improved its business structure by incorporating the media commerce division last year, is reflected in the improved performance.
The HLB Global media commerce division has been receiving strong market responses by continuously launching highly convenient products that align with the latest trends. Representative products include the premium portable massager brand ‘Spaal’, the fuel additive brand ‘Kammim’, and the camping goods brand ‘Urban Concrete’. Sales have increased amid positive consumer reviews, driving the company's growth. By focusing on its own platform and minimizing costs through online marketing, the company offers reasonable prices compared to competing products, which is another reason for sustained consumer support.
HLB Global plans to further strengthen the growth of its media commerce business by expanding its new product lineup in the second half of the year.
Kim Kwangjae, CEO of HLB Global, said, "We are leading market trends centered on the MZ generation and bringing a new wave to the domestic distribution market," adding, "We will introduce many products that modern consumers can easily and conveniently enjoy in line with the times and trends."
