Yonsei University’s Yonsei Dairy has launched a new dessert product, ‘Yonsei Milk Banana Fresh Cream Tteok,’ targeting consumers seeking various ‘K-desserts’ following the popularity of bread.


Recently, ‘K-desserts’ have gained popularity, increasing demand for traditional desserts. In particular, among young people, the trend of ‘Tteok Pilgrimage,’ where they travel nationwide to find dessert spots featuring tteok, has been gaining momentum. In response, Yonsei Dairy has released a product aligned with the ‘Tteok Pilgrimage’ trend to once again capture consumer preferences.


‘Yonsei Milk Banana Fresh Cream Tteok’ features a chewy texture made from 100% domestically sourced glutinous rice and uses banana cream containing Yonsei Milk, allowing consumers to enjoy the sweet taste of banana milk. The product is available for purchase at CU stores nationwide.


An official stated, “Consumers who are passionate about traditional desserts enough to go on a Tteok Pilgrimage can now enjoy delicious tteok near their homes. The chewy texture and the soft, sweet banana milk flavor of ‘Yonsei Milk Banana Fresh Cream Tteok’ can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders.”
