Implementation of Customized Korean Language Education and More
Dongguk University has decided to collaborate with Unimeo, a senior healthcare platform company, to train foreign care workers.
On the 15th, Dongguk University's Future Convergence Education Center and Korean Language Education Center announced that they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding this collaboration on the 8th at the Future Convergence Education Center Director's Office in the Academic Building of Dongguk University, Jung-gu, Seoul. The agreement includes attracting foreign care workers, providing customized Korean language and character education for foreign care workers, and offering job theory and field training for foreign care workers.
Going forward, Dongguk University's Future Convergence Education Center and Korean Language Education Center plan to conduct various training programs for foreign care worker development in cooperation with Unimeo, while also carrying out job creation, recruitment, and settlement projects.
Yoo Hanrim, Director of Dongguk University's Future Convergence Education Center, stated, "In line with the government's plan to expand the use of foreign workers to address the shortage of care workers, we have signed a business agreement with a specialized company to support recruitment and settlement." He added, "Through this, we aim to establish a systematic system for training care workers and respond to the domestic demand for care services in the future."
