Studio Mir, a leading domestic animation planning and production company, announced on the 14th that Warner Bros. Animation's "Watchmen: Chapter 1" began overseas distribution the previous day.
"Watchmen: Chapter 1" is an adaptation of the iconic comic by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons into animation. Studio Mir participated in the full CGI production process, featuring 3D character design with 2D stylization for this project.
Previously, Studio Mir collaborated with Warner Bros. to produce full CGI animations such as "Battle of Super Sons" and "Babylon 5: The Road Home," earning recognition for its animation production capabilities in the global industry.
A company representative stated, "With the recent surge in global animation production demand, Studio Mir currently has orders exceeding its optimal capacity, including a waiting list, requiring careful consideration of project optimization.
